The point was what brought me here
A long time ago I walked by a Tae Kwon Do school and thought it might be a good place for me to get my ego checked and better myself. I walked in and never walked out, figuratively speaking.
It was never my plan but, I have now been operating a martial arts school for about twenty five years. Twelve of those years right here in Kentucky. The best part is that even though I am running a martial arts school I am still learning too! Martial arts is life changing, if you want it to be, or it is just a passing interest. Only you can decide which. You know how I managed to make it to the point of being successful in several amazing employment opportunities only to now be focusing on martial arts as a career?
The point is what kept me here
I defeated the top two killers of any opportunity. (I started) I walked through the door in the first place and then every time something was more important than training I refused to quit(Didn’t quit). Simply said, I made it work. Not always pretty, not always comfortable and certainly not always convenient. The important point I never lost sight of: I had to never forget the value in what I was doing as I grew and learned.
The point is yours
What’s the point in training in the martial arts? That is the number one question you need to answer. There is no right or wrong answer. There is just your answer.
You might not even know the answer entirely yet, but you have something that interests you in it or you would likely not be reading this. The point is finding the reason and taking action! The point is walking through the door and getting started. The point is to never stop searching for your reason or seeing the value in the training. Stay true to the path and you will reach your goals, both on the mat and in life. The success of those who reach their martial arts training goals is proven through history. Consider joining us, or returning to the mat to truly understand why successful people throughout the world call it the martial arts advantage!
Your point may have brought you here too!
What’s the point? The point is you are still reading this. Your interest may be showing you the path to our door!
Looking forward to seeing your smile walk in!
Enjoy the beautiful day!
